Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of heydecks, operated by unscripted GmbH, Grienbachstrasse 17, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

heydecks provides a deck API, an MCP server, and a dashboard that turn your content into hosted decks, PDFs, and PPTX files.

Accounts

You need an account to use heydecks, handled by our authentication provider Clerk. Keep your password, API keys, and MCP tokens secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use heydecks to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• submit or publish abusive, harmful, or unlawful content;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• exceed published rate or credit limits, or resell access except as permitted.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit and the decks you create. You grant us the limited license needed to host, render, export, and display that content in order to operate the service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you submit.

Our platform

We own the heydecks software, templates, brand, and render pipeline. These Terms grant you no rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

Credits and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. Work is metered in credits as described on the pricing page. Monthly allowances do not roll over. Solo and Pro include a free trial; you can cancel before it ends at no charge. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

API and MCP use

Use of the REST API and the MCP server is subject to rate and credit limits. Keep your keys and tokens secret; you are responsible for any usage made with them.

Third-party services

heydecks relies on providers including Clerk, Stripe, and Cloudflare. Your use of the service may also be subject to their terms.

Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, unscripted GmbH is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to cover claims arising from your content or your misuse of the service.

Termination

You can stop using heydecks at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of Zug, Switzerland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of heydecks after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Questions? Email hello@unscripted.ch.
