Is the exported PPTX really editable?

Yes. In the default editable mode, text exports as native PowerPoint text boxes and data tables as native tables. Backgrounds, charts, and imagery come through as images placed behind the live text.

Which plans include PPTX export?

Editable PPTX export is on Solo and every plan above it. The free plan exports PDF. Exports never cost credits; you pay 100 credits to build a deck, not to download it.

Does the PPTX keep my fonts and colors?

Yes. The export uses the brand the deck was built on, from the Brand Kernel: your palette, your fonts, and your logo. If a viewer lacks a font, PowerPoint substitutes it as it does for any file.

Can I generate a PPTX from code?

Yes. Build a deck with POST /v1/generate or the deck endpoints, then POST /v1/decks/{id}/exports with format pptx. The response is a download link you can hand to a user or fetch in your backend.

How is this different from Copilot in PowerPoint?

Copilot works inside one PowerPoint file while you drive it. heydecks is built for agents and code: any assistant or backend can produce a finished, on-brand deck without anyone opening PowerPoint, then export it as PPTX.
