1. Set a fixed slide size first. In the three-dot menu, open Page Setup and pick a fixed-height option from the slide size dropdown. Cards that fit a fixed frame translate to slides far better than free-growing ones.
2. Turn off Show Slide Backdrops in Page Setup if your export has white borders. Gamma's help center names this as the usual cause.
3. Keep one idea per card. Long cards are the ones that get cramped or split awkwardly.
